Pallets on their point, lapped over each other and tied, in rings that lose one pallet each time — the way Pixel Palace was built. Run sets the bottom ring: run 8 is twelve pallets, six metres across. Overlap is what the tie wraps go through. The pallets lap over each other sideways and up the slope. How far they lean is not a choice: the rings step in by a pallet's worth of circumference each time, and how far they rise then is the angle. The bottom ring stands up straight, the way it was built. The last slider only nudges the rest. It stops at seven pallets and leaves an opening at the crown — below that a flat plate cannot follow the circle.
